We deliver this training in partnership with NIHR Biomedical Research (BRC) Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London. They are co-designed and co-delivered by patient trainers, the workshops give participants the opportunity to discuss challenges in their own studies with experienced service users.

The workshops target researchers that are currently in the process of applying to the National Institute for Health Research or similar funding programmes.

What will the workshops cover?

  • An overview of what effective PPI is and is not in the context of research
  • How patients and the public can be involved at each stage of the research cycle
