Alison Finch is an Assistant Chief Nurse at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She has been awarded a Health Education England/NIHR Clinical Doctoral Research Fellowship.

She is a cancer nurse who has spent 15 years working with young people in haematology and broader cancer specialty. Her research focuses on evaluating ambulatory care for young people and she hopes that the research, once completed, will impact how services are delivered nationwide.

In this video Alison talks to us about her research and the support she received from us  when applying for her fellowship. She also provides some tips for other healthcare professionals looking at applying for a fellowship award.
